4 days is really not much of a headache, fishes can go without food for 7 days easily, please keep cool, but if you still insist, there are 2 best options:
Holiday fish Feeder: feeds an average 10 gallon community tank for 7 to 10 days.

Holiday Food Tablets: For all tropical and coldwater fish. Lasts for up to 14 days. Does not cloud the water. Remove left over food when you return.

Hope you are tension free now :-)

Healthy fish can usually last several weeks without being fed.
Fry however generally need a more reqular supply of food.
If there is nobody to come in and feed them you can buy a portion of tibufex worms and wash them really clean in under a tap.
I'd leave a ball of them in the tank. Enough for the fish to eat over the next two days. By the time I get home, they would be hungry but not starved. If you tank has no gravel then this is really easy since the worms can't hide.
If you do have gravel, get a container about the size and shape of an ashtray (with slightly higher sides). Fill it up with some gravel (from the tank and introduce the tubifex worms in). Then SLOWLY sink the container to the bottom of the tank.
Tubifex worms will stick out part of their bodies in the open to get oxygen. The platys will easily grab the worms and pull them out of the gravel.
Worked well for me. I trust this more than the automatic feeders because they always seem to fail when you most need them. Hope it helps.
Good luck.

Your best bet honestly is to not feed them at all during your 4 days away. Healthy fish will be fine for that time frame. The fry do pose a problem of course, but no food will last properly for them and would only serve to polute the tank which is worsse than not feeding them at all. Some delicate live plants could be left in the tank as a food source for both the babies and the adults.

If you have some living plants in the tank, the fish will be just fine without food for even a week. For the babies, eventually put some small plants or some leaves in their floating tank, to be sure they have something to pick at.

if you have to, get an auto feeder at pet store, you can set up the time you want to feed 'em.
or get a friend who is willing to take care of 'em, just to feed and look after 'em.
but usually i think yur platies are gonna be alright, just for 4 days right? platies can eat algae that grows in the tank, so they'll still have plenty of food.. that is if you had algae growing in yur tank.

4 days is nothing for most fish. The fry need food more regularly. Given these are platy you can use veggies. Buy some zucchini. Slice one piece as thin as a penny. Throw it in the fry tank/net. You can also throw a half inch slice in for the adults.
Note that until it gets soggy the fry won't be able to eat the zucchini, but this is good for your situation. Also I'm assuming that the floating tank has openings to exchange water with the main tank.

attempt putting them on your bigger tank and purchase a tank divider and an automatic fish feeder. carry your feeder on the side glass or corners and whilst all is desperate, set your feeder to what proportion situations an afternoon you like it to feed you fish.
