I said about a missed period, then coming on what seemed like my period after a month, this lasted about a day and a half. Ive done a few tests, all saying negative. Did have sore boobs, but not feeling that anymore, now feeling sick, tired and the left side of my stomach is hurting, when i cough i get a sharp pain there. I was gonna go to the docs this afternoon but I might just do another test before incase it does show up if i am this time. . or should i just go to the doctors and see what they say?

Honestly, it sounds like you could have the flu or a virus as well. But I would head to the docs and see what they say.

How long has it been since you might have become pregnant? Sometimes it takes 5 weeks before it shows up on the test. If you're doing the HPT right, then I don't know that the doc's test would be any more accurate, but they can also do a blood test, which would definitely be accurate. If it hasn't been 5 weeks since you might have become pregnant, I wouldn't bother doing another HPT because it's probably a waste of money then.

Also, are you very physically active? Sometimes that can cause you to have less of a period, skipped periods, or even get rid of your period altogether while you are very active, especially if you're still in your teens or early 20's. But I would consider seeing the doc anyway because of the pain you're having. That's probably not normal.

Hi there,

The only way you will know for sure is by going to see your GP, I'm not an expert but from what you have described it sounds as though you may be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy

"the most common presentation is with a missed period, positive pregnancy test, some abdominal pain (usually to one side), and some irregular vaginal bleeding. Some women report fainting or shoulder-tip pain."

Go to the doctors as soon as you can, if only to put your mind at rest.

I hope it all turns out ok.

i was the exact same as you ...i ended up going to the doctor they told me it was an ovarian cyst....my symptoms were : no period, sharp pain on the side of my abdomen,i thought it was a preg symptom but then even coughing was painful thats when i decided to go to the docs...the thought maybe it was an ectopic preg....after a blood test came neg they did an ultrasound ,thats when the saw the cyst in my ovary....they can be very painful specially if you try having sex...

Dont want to frighten you but you may have heard of ectopic pregnancy. i had one and had all the negative preg tests because there wasnt enough HCG levels in the urine to show a positive test. To cut a long story short, my fallopian tube burst and I was in agony, collapsed and nearly died. Please just go to your doctor just in case. Good luck. x

I would get a blood test and see. If your tests are coming up negative you will just be wasting money.
Blood tests are more accurate than urine anyway.
Good luck!
