Ok, let's take this from another prospective, i wanna be a network technician mange systems internet traffic etc, but i also wanna have some coding understanding would that help me with becoming a better network technician?

Start with w3schools for a comprehensive list of tutorials on web programming. Start with html and javascript then VBScript. Work your way through the list from there.

I would also recommend starting out with Notepad++. Its free and has line numbers to help you with error reports and also a number of language parsers which can make the code easier to understand.

You must have studied mathematics in college. You should
know how to do some mathematics, how to solve problems.
How to solve it? by Polya is one of the best book for maths and computers people. You should also learn some algorithms and Introduction to algorithms by CLR ( 3 authors )
book is great one. You can find video lectures of it at
ocw mit site.
Python as first language and C, Unix will make you good.
The path I explained takes long time, at the end you will
have job irrespective of industry up and down.
