Granted Oprah is an intelligent successful woman, but she's no better or worse than any other writer, talk show host, or celebrity that expresses an opinion whether it be right or wrong, and yes many celebrity's including political celebrity's such as Hillary Clinton for some reason or another alter their voices/accents in order to impress/sway a particular audience.

I've heard Oprah do it too. Hillary Clinton is being accused of "playing" to black audiences by using terms they use and she's getting huge criticism from it but she's white and Oprah's black. Nobody criticizes Oprah when she's on her show and doesn't talk like she's still from the "Po part of the South - Mississippi.
