They say opposites attract.
Air to Fire
Water to Earth
Compatibilities exist with
Air to Water
Earth to Fire
It is suggested that diagonals don't mix well and often have problems that they find difficult to settle.
Air to Earth = represents war
Water to Fire = represents fog
Leadership signs also get along well with each other.
Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn
Aries and Cancer are great leaders to start projects, but often are weak to finish.
Librans and Capricorns are great finishers, but poor starters.
So Aries would be good with a Libra or Capricorn, but not a Cancer.

I would say (I'm sure you already know) Scorpio and Pisces. But Tinkz is right about the opposites attract thing. I'm a cap who's known two cancers females. Attraction was crazy. Its true about how caps,as well as other males in other signs, like cancer woman's feminine appeal. Both girls were moody, but I still thought about both a Lot and next time I saw them, they would b first to tell me they thought bout me to. Attraction was always there. Just from experience I know you would be set with a Capricorn male, but u probably should stick with Pisces and cancer.

you are best suited to another water sign which would be either scorpio or pisces. im a cancarian as well and i am now with a pisces and we get on really well. A pisces will enjoy the lively, caring thoughtful aspects of a cancer. However if you want sparks in the bedroom then scorpio will set you on fire!

my solar is in taurus my moon is in maximum cancers my increasing sign is likewise taurus for some reason when I tell human beings this they bypass. "ohhhhh wow very impressive" =] i nevertheless dont understand what they mean.
