Hmm. I'm thinking about little people (men) who are married to women of average height.

And, my brother is 5'8" and his girlfriend is 6'3". I'm having trouble seeing him lift and carry her as well.

So, no, the man being able to physically carry the woman is not always the case. But, emotionally, he should definitely be able to support her.

Literally? No.

Figuratively yes! It should be a reciprocal thing to do in order for the relationship to thrive. However, there should be balance - a wife or girlfriend should not take advantage of this. Each must have a capacity to live her own life and handle her own responsibilities.

Y??? Where is he going 2 carry her 2??? Unless she is unwell and fell asleep on the couch or totally legless from intoxication then I don't c y he should have 2 carry her. If she has legs USE them. There r a lot of people out there who cant walk. Get over it.

Sure. Unless I'm his wife or girlfriend. Then all bets are off.

it's up to the couple and who they are...

personally i like it when my man demonstrates his strength, power and love through lifting me.
I'm not a skinny minnie, so luckily he's quite buff! lol
