My daughter made a necklace to me (she is 7) and my my son (6) made me a bookmark. Of course, both gifts came with their unique and special card!!!

Well I am the one that gave as I am my mothers son. And as bad as this may sound my mom LOVED/S her gift. I gave her a bunch of word search puzzle books. My mom is in a nursing home and suffers from Alzheimer's. I gave her gift all so much thought as what do I get her. Then it hit me WORD SEARCH. She LOVES these puzzle books. So I packed them in a gift bag with a nice card and she pulled the books out and looked at them like she was a kid and said "Oh, for me" And the smile on her face almost made me cry. She was like a little kid and every time I go see her (EVERY DAY) she is working on a puzzle.

I got a gift certificate for a massage, some flowers, and a really sweet card. I couldn't enjoy any of it, though, because my mother passed away on Wednesday. I really wanted yesterday to just disappear. It was the worst Mother's Day ever.

I got a paddle pop sticks photo frame from from my daughter (6) with a pic of her at school in it. She made me a card as well. I also go t breakfast in bed and dinner out. I also got plants 2 put in my new garden.

i bought my stepmom a belly button thingy. tiny crystal & silver dragonfly. very cute BUT she is 53, and thinks shes 17.... its embarrasing i spose but what can you do? (she looks like shes 37.....a real happily married 'stiflers mom'.
all the joy to her i spose. im 34 and i look like her older sister.
god is cruel......
