Already done it. she's been upset before because of me, but never this badly. now i think she needs some time.

Have you often been late in the past? If it's just the once then this souds like an over-reaction. If she's not one to normally over react then it's possible that something happened that she needed to talk about - you could try asking what this is.
If it's out of character for her to overreact then there's a slim chance she was looking for an excuse to split up with you. You could ask whether this is the case. (Perhaps she's getting cold feet or has found someone else. It's hard to tell for sure knowing so little about the situation.)
If you are late on a regular basis then her reaction is understandable. If this is the case then the only option is to grovel and apologise. And change your ways - don't keep people waiting again.

How about saying sorry?! Tell her your very sorry, & say to her that you will do anything to make her happy, anything to always be with her, ANYTHING TO GET HER OUT OF HARM'S WAY!!! Why not, bend to your knees & show her some flowers just for her to forgive you?! She really wants to know if you love her or not! SHOW IT!
