most of my favorite is before they lost Cliff Burton, after Jason joined, they changed & keep changing their style, that I don't care about their new stuff.

I loved them up to & including Justice 4 All. Anything after was blah.
They kicked everyones @ss before they got together with that new producer.

Durring the Puppets and Justice era I was a total die-hard. Of course I was in a band then so that helps. I wasn't a fan of Load and Reload although some killer tracks came from those 2 albums, including the ones they did on S&M.

St. Anger was like a return to the glory days for me. They put it best when they said it is an aggressive album with positive energy. They are growing up and so am I so I guess their progression fits right in with mine.

To me, they were at their best in 1991 when they did the Live Sh*t Binge and Purge box. At that time they were still playing metal, and the best available!I just wish they had stopped before the Load, Reload and all this stuff which is really just worth throwing by the window.

I loved them for the live shows. If you're asking "when" I liked them most, it was probably during the "Enter Sandman" days and before.

So far I haven't heard anything that beats the Black Album. It still rocks HARD and always will. What about you? Thanks for asking!!
