The more you do to him, the more stress you're going to cause. Right now the best thing for him is to be left alone so he can recuperate. If you can put up a divider so he's not bothered by the other fish, that would be fine. If not, I'd try moving the clown instead of the mandarin. If you don't have anothr tank, do you have one of those plastic tanks with a vented lid? You could put him in that and keep him in the same tank.
Also, if you keep the tank lights off, that will calm him.

I would try and put a divider in the tank to keep the other fish from picking on him. Do not disturb the fish and try to keep the stress level as low as possible. This includes, loud noises, poking and prodding, etc. Try to keep the light level constant in the tank (gradually increase or decrease the amount of light in the room). This might sound insane but it's really important to the recuperation of the fish. Also make sure to check water ph levels, nitrates, and for signs of common diseases (ich and other parasites).

Try not to stress him and don't make him swim around. Don't make him move at all. and if other fish are picking on him try to put it in a separate tank or place a divider in the tank.

If you have a spare tank or a hospital tank (something thats used for fry's also) shift your injured fish there, and run a air stone on not too high speed. He should heal faster if kept in shallow water and seperately.
Treat it with Melafix.
