I do like them both, but luckily, they're 2 different styles of fantasy/fairy tales. The Neverending Story is a more serious, true to form fantasy story. The Princess Bride uses comedy to put it's point across. I really wouldn't call it a parody, but it looks at the lighter side of fantasy stories, and while being funny, it put's an interesting storyline across.
I tend to watch The Princess Bride more often, probably because of the endearing characters, and humour.
So I'd say.........*drum roll*........
The Princess Bride!

I like the Neverending Story, but I'm going to go with the Princess Bride.
The song they play in the ending credits is one of my favorites. (Storybook Love). Hopeless romantic!
