Trick question...they're the same.

It's more individual than that. It depends on how screwed- over someone (man or woman) has previously been. The fear of commitment is usually in step with the level of screwage.

In my case, being a woman(not that having boobs affected this) but I am more scared of committment. When the guy starts talking about moving on and like living together or whatever, I get scared and back off. Women are more likely I think to either put too much heart or not enough heart into a situation depending on their past experience.

Both.

it depends on person to person. You usually get it, if you have been heart broken, or your parents where unhappily married.

Different people commit differently, because of different happenings in there back ground. But i do think woman break more hearts then men.

Men take long to commit, woman take long to decide, and unfortunately neither wants to always wait for the other.

Hope that made some sense.

woman.
committment might mean reducing their priority in life on other issues such as work, i've known close people who i could possibly deduce, are behaving this way.

also, committment to the wrong guy will mean very severe losses, physically(job, money, family, friends) and mentally(wrong trust, soulmate, self judgement).

while for guys, sadly, some are not planning to commit at all(there you have your playboys), some are looking to but not so attractive(know that guys, for a fact, aren't as good looking as girls are, generally), or money issues. the ego tells a guy to earn enough money to support a family, before starting one. man are not afraid of committment, some are just afraid they cant keep up to expectations enough.

no man who's looking to settle down but still single, would view committment as an issue.

however, women who are looking to settle down but still single, are worried about the opportunity costs.

I think Men...

Cause men have to take on bigger responsbilities
than women...

So men need time to suit themselves towards
commitments...
