In the U.S., today's KFC demographic is all ages. They are trying to appeal to families who don't usually eat dinner together everyday. As for Carrefour, I cannot say because these stores don't exist here.

KFC Targets Kids more than anything, but I don't see a "Super Store" like Carrefour having the same target market (age wise) as a fast-food chain.

KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell are all targeting the same market. Middle aged men that are of a mid-level income, likes to hang out with friends, listen to loud music and drive fast cars. They are also targeting kids.

They target all age groups, naturally they are after the market.
I however believe all restaurants such as KFC are targeting the Baby-boomer population all multi racial cultures.
This is who seems to have the cash and have it readily available. Largest part of the United States population.
The ones aged 52 to 63.

Basically they want to reach every home (not vegetarians) that's why you'll see their coupons every week in the mail. But in last few years they are not doing that much fine.
