If all the generals and politicians have agreed that a milirary solution is not going to work in Iraq, why have we instituted this military surge with several thousand more troops?
Also, what do you think about the Iraqi governent taking a 2 month vacation?

You have one thing wrong. The only generals that say a surge won't work are long retired and the only politicians who say it won't work are democrats.
I think a 2 month vacation is too long with the number of problems in that country but everyone needs some down time.

I guess President Bullshit thinks he knows better then all the generals, because "God talks to him"... As for the installed government in Iraq taking a vacation-everyone is entitled to have some vacation.
