1. my pc is in safe mode because i can't use explorer if it's running in a "normal mode", so i kept on using safe mode with networking.
2. i'm trying to go to //192.168.1.1 and i can't access the setup because it won't accept the password, i tried to reset the router but the same thing happens again and again, i tried the dos style, run then cmd, release and all but it useless. But we actually changed the password, but still it won't accept it.
3. three pc's (wired) can connect using the router but my laptop (wireless) can't connect. but when it was newly installed it was working properly and after a couple of weeks, the connection kept on disconnecting approx. after 45 mins, then connect again after 30 mins. and it is interrupting our work.

help >,<

is the problem because of the "safe mode" or the router or the pcs?

In some cases starting over is the easiest way to correct issues. You can reset your router to factory defaults (like when it was new) and then the password is admin. (no user name just the password is all you have to enter).
Hold the reset button on the back down for about 30 seconds. This will reset the router to the defaults.

Then go to the linksys site and setup as shown for your conncetion. *Use a machine that is not in safe mode.

You need to fix your safe mode. This would be of more concern to me than the router because nothing works the way it should in that "service mode". Depending on what is broken in your system - it could indeed keep you from connecting to the router or any other part of the network.

try routerlogin.net
username: admin
password: password

Your not using McAfee wireless protection are you? I had problems with that.
