The game has taken a drastic change due to commerialisation. More and money is coming into the game and BCCI the richest Board in the cricketing world cannot control the game by itself. The sponsorors demand their right as they have paid a lot of money and demand induction of the players they have signed.
Quality of the game has not improved but the game has become more and more professional and there is need for improvement in the fielding aspect, fitness of the players and consistent performance.
Due to commercialisation the game has lost its charm and the interest that it had in the earlier days.

I Belive in the fact that commercialisation is definitely costing the game.
Ill support my statements with the following justifications.
1st ill consider the Indian cricket team
there is nothing wrong in them doing commercials because its not like they are taking time off game and doing them, its their personal time
but how is it killing game.
1) its believed that the team is picked based on the corporates and sponsors behind the series// so obviously on a particular day a particular team is not picked which coud have actualy won the game
2)money is not getting properly circulated , the domestic level since doesn have any sponsors is suffering due to lack of facilities
3)kids don look upon the cricketers as good batsmen or bowlers// but are more interested in the ads and the brands they endorse.
4)this is completely abstract// when a cricketer would be playing well his ads will be all over// he ill be having the pressure to play it well// which he might lose out on sometimes.

Yes and no.
Yes, as you can see the results of the team.
No, my suggestion is to make the game professional just like the way English or spanish or Italian football is run. In that way, real talents will emerge and most players will be accountable for the money they receive.
Either Indian should shed away cricket or make it really professionally big.

Rather I would like to say it is working both ways.
On one hand players are getting name fame and lots of money,on the other hand because of huge money they are adopting unfair means to be a part of the team.It can be safely presumed that they are doing everything except playing cricket because they start to think that they are super humans and they can do anything as and when they want.Selectors also fall prey to the popularity of these so called heros(ZEROS).As a result of which new talent is not recognised and given their due recognition.

You have asked a very important question. Unfortunately, money is killing the cricket. A sting operation has proved it recently. It is very sorry that wealth has taken the front seat and the game is suffering.

Yes. I still remember kapil Dev's quotes, " Aaj to sab khiladi sponsor aur ad kar rahe hai. Kabhi kabhi cricket bhi khelte hai." It means that all players are having sponsorship and doing ads now and SOMETIMES they play cricket.
