Hugs from my kids and husband, kisses, "i love yous", seeing my Pug smile at me, a beautiful Spring day, seeing my family be happy..........so many little things.

Kids, smiles from other people, warm showers, coffee ready in the morning, warm bed on a cold night, cool bed on a hot day, an air conditioner on a really hot, humid day and night, "I love yous", hugs between lovers and people who love each other, including families and friends, puppies and kitties, dogs and cats, flowers, trees, lakes and ponds, the moon and the sun rising and setting, birds chirping, fish biting, the first snow on a winter morning, the last snow of the year, the first spring day, the first flowers blooming, the lists could go on and on. God has blessed us with so many blessings and so many times we don't stop to take the time to thank Him or to even stop to think about all the wonder of nature, period and the wonder of the people who matter so much to us. What a thought provoking question. Thank you! :o)

Watching my dogs play, watching squirrels chase each other through the trees, seeing my wife every morning with a smile on her face and a nice walk on the beach. There is joy to be found in the simple things if you just take the time to watch, listen and enjoy.

a hello on the telephone from a dear old friend
a kiss on the nose from my hubby in the morning
my cat, who comes running when i go home after a tired day
my niece telling she loves me and blows me a kiss
my mom calling out of the blue to see how I'm doing
chats with my sister about everything and anything
wet noses of my doggies, and their always 'Happy' mood
my nephews little kisses and smiles and his baby talk
makes me happy, makes me smile and makes my life seems worth while.

All of what you said and then some. My husband went out and bought lemon
meringue pie, asparagus and celery because he knows I love it, and KFC for
Mother's Day. We planned on Montana's but it was super busy. He surprises me
with the simple things that make my day. I am one very blessed woman.

My dog's beautiful eyelashes and big brown eyes, his ears that droop to the ground, his big, wrinkled paws, his big nose, his speckled-pink belly, his deep, bellowing bark and howl, his dumb, but sweetly dispositioned. I don't care if he does smell like nachos.
I like to blow on blades of grass and make them whistle, I like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches instead of steaks (sometimes), I enjoy walks, talking to neighbors, when sharing a story with a friend, hugging, kissing, and loving.

my cats who get all crazy cause i come home from work!my dogs just wagging their tails sooo happy to see me! my little nieces who run to kiss me!my students who hug their favorite teacher[yes,i live in a country where simple hugging IS NOT considered sexual harassment!!]
and flowers...i love flowers!
and a special someone.....who loves...me!

hugs from my little cousins, and helping out and comforting my juniors at school, helping out my friends, and getting gifts from some1, whether they are hand made or not...for me its priceless...all these things always make me feel content and very happy
