There's no direct train to Pachmari. Go upto Jabalpur (there are quite a few no of direct trains) from there take a Cab or bus depending on your budget.

Lots of hotels to choose. Try a cottage, it won't be expensive.

June would be ok though if monsoon comes early then it might just be a little messy.

There is no train service to Pachmarhi.

You can take a train from Mumbai and get down at Pipariya, the closest railway station to Pachmarhi.

1093 Mahanagari Express from CST, Mumbai departs at 00.10 and reaches Pipariya town at 13.50 next day. Runs everyday.

2322 Kolkata Mail leaves at 21.25, reaches 10.50 runs everyday.

Pipariya is a town. Please get onto the east side of the station which is fairly uncrowded or having a rural feel that town. You can get from here the buses or you can engage a shared jeep. Jeeps are most convenient as the frequency of buses is very irregular. Pachmarhi is about an hour from the station.

This is the only hill-station in Madhya Pradesh, hence will be crowded in season. (june is almost mid-season). But there are plentiful of hotels in various cost-categories. Check with MP tourism in Mumbai either at ITDC counter opp churchgate station or at MP tourism, 45, World Trade Centre, cuffe parade, Mumbai.

there are no trains direct from mumbai to panchmari. you will first have to go to nagpur or to jabalpur then from there you will easily get a taxi or bus to pancmari.and as far the climate and weather is concerned the place is just like heaven. i also visited there last month. you can easily get a buget hotel there but as the season is on you may face some probkem regarding hotels.
