Theres actually something caled a shoe grip that sticks to the bottom of your shoe like a sticker. It's kind or rubbery but really thin. We sell it at the store I work at (Fred Meyer) in the shoe dept. with the shoe laces and insoles

Not sure if you can still get them but a firm called Phillips made stick-a-soles some years ago. They were of a rubber material and were fixed with an adhesive.I believe some were self sticking. This was in UK,not sure about other countries.A shoe repair service should be able to avise you.

Open your scissors and score the bottom of the shoe in a cross hatch type of way. I've done this for fashion shows before to stop the models flying off the runway.

Take them to a local cobblers and they should be able to put soles with plenty of grip on them for you. Not to expensive either and done really quick.

Whenever i buy new shoes which are smooth on the sole, i find that if you put them on and them rub your feet on concrete or block paving (press down hard) , this then scuffs the sole of the shoe giving it grip !! try it ... it really works !!

Rub down the soles with sandpaper, it should roughen them up enough not to slip.
