need a way to find, make or buy vx5200 headset that enables regular conversation to both ears?

Don't hear that well, w/ an earpiece blaring into both ears, this should both cut ambient noise, and enable hearing of finer nuances spoken. Hate saying, Huh? and What? all the time, and it can't be that much fun for the party on the other end, either. ANY suggestions welcome! Thanks!
