Srilankan have shown maturity and professionlism by opting him out.... there's place to fit him in the team until unless someone is injured at top 3..

Unlike Indians... where as out of form Shehwag was taken to worldcup... Sachin still played in the world cup.... Yuvraj managed his place.... Damn... no professionalism in billion people country.... making them damn idols ...

Bullshit ..indians r making all nonsence if some one like damn sachin or ganguly is dropped from the team ..

learn from Lankans and bangladesh...

Yes I found it a little unjust on Atapattu to be dropped or rested from the Abu Dhabi tour. With quite a few senior members being rested, it would have been ideal if Atapattu had played. He would have got an opportunity to prove himself, his fitness again. In the World Cup, he had to be the sub because Chamara Silva, Dilshan and Arnold were all playing well and contributing in some way or the other. Silva was in good batting form, Dilshan and Arnold were contributing in the field and with the ball as well. Atapattu had to fight for his place with these players and also with Upul Tharanga. The selectors did well to stick with Tharanga and give a show of confidence.

No captain will think about changing a winning XI. Marvan is old and only a moderate batsman in ODI's. Its time for him to retire.
