Typically they mean to count all the words, even articles like "a" and "the". If you have word count on your computer that is usually helpful, because it counts the words in between the spaces you typed, but beware, it will count hyphenated words as one. And for future reference, essay is spelled with an "e".

all words count, even "a", you could also try counting the amount of words on four lines and get the average per line, then count the lines and multiply them both together, much quicker and very accurate!

yes, you do. one fast way of estimating how many words you've written is taking the number of words on 1 line x the number of lines. If you did your essay on the computer, even easier, use microsoft word count.

*essay Remember to leave a finger space before the first sentence of each new paragraph. (underlined) Learn to bake your own cookies Do you know this world famous beagle (add dog if don't tho people understand)? He is the beagle who thinks of himself as a fighter pilot, or as a great wrighter. That's right - Snoopy! I'm one of his many fans not only because of his cute looks but also for his wonderful wits in the Peanuts cartoon. I realized the significance of some lines of the Peanuts characters when I read a story about Charles M Schulz and Peanuts in an English textbook. Reading it, I knew why Peanuts cartoons are so popular among the world. It read, “Charles M Schulz and Peanuts have helped us face this difficult world with their special type of humor and gentle encouragement to carry on. They keep reminding us that true success lies in sensitivity to others in small acts of kindness and in the courage to hope even in the face of great difficulty.” I often read so-called life consultation articles that appear in the newspaper or in a magazine and it gives answers beyond my imagination and being rich in humor as I laugh in spite of myself (I'm sorry, I don't understand this sentence. You use so-called, and also say it gives you great answers which are opposites in a way, so I won't correct it.) . They always inspire me and make me wonder what I would think if I was a consultant. I think that Schulz' cartoons show wisdom from his personal experience, because he always had a sharp and deep sensitivity (personality?) It is even more interesting how he expresses himself not in his words but through the characters in his cartoons (I really liked that sentence, good one). I feel it also it makes me understand the deep, important meaning of his words. I In my opinion, all of these techniques are why the Peanuts cartoons fascinate many people throughout the world. Through all of this the Peanuts always guide me in my life. They have helped me in reality when I had troubles with friends. Today I would like to show you one of my favorite. (I'm going to post here in case you delete your question to save time. I will finish it soon.)
