Dan Johnson - for the short term, ride the streak
Lyle Overbay - very streaky, usually gets hot around this time...should pick his avg back up to .300s
Scott Thorman - has his games but I would say probably not worth a pickup

here are some stats that might help u out

dan johnson 16 games 23hits 58at bats 13 runs 5 doubles 0 triples 4 homers 12 rbi's 13 walks 9 strikeouts 0 stolen bases .397 avg .507 on base percentage .690 slugging percentage

lyle overbay- 36 games 32hits 132 atbats 18 runs 9 double 1 triple 5 homers 17 rbi's 16 walks 28 strikeouts 0 stolen bases .242 avg. 322 on base percentage .439 slugging percentage

scott thurman- 31 games 22hits 86 atbats 12 runs 6 doubles 0 triples 5 homers 19 rbi's 4 walks 15k's 1 sb .256 avg .297 on base percentage .500 slugging percentage

now wat i would do is take thoes stats compare them to your last weeks stats and see which guy better fits your team needs in the stat coloumn till howard comes back

my opinion i would NOT take dan johnson he dont play enough so i that would be like not picking up anyone at all i would go with thorman but i am a braves fan so im a little bias anyways thorman or overbay would be decent pickups to have as reserve help good luck with ur fantasy team
