1384.70 (distance in miles) / 28 (mpg for 94 Ford Tempo) = 49.45 (gallons of gas you will use)

49.45 (gallons of gas) x 3.05 (average price of gas) = $150.83 (Total amount paid for gas) Yikes!

cost for gas = price per gallon x distance/miles per gallon
Cost = 3.05 x 1384.7 / 28
Cost = $150.83

total miles divided by miles per gallon times price per gallon

1384.70/28*$3.05=$150.83

Don't forget to double that figure, if you are going to need to drive back.

Have a great trip!
