The sound of a car door shutting and the sound of my front door opening. Usually means friends!

You are so right,especially the giggles off small children. At those moments don't you feel the world is safe around you.
I also like the noise little animals make before they get fed by their mothers,and then the quietness with just the odd sucking noise.

Just heard it today: The sound of my three children debating an issue. It is the sound of their intelligence.
General joyful noise: the squeal of joyful play anywhere in the neighborhood.
Squeaky-clean children playing in the tub.

I echo the sentiments of all those above me, especially the sounds of joyful children.
Also, as a Buddhist, I chant Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo. It fills me with great joy to walk into a large community center when many dozens of us are chanting together.

The sound of my boyfriend whispering into my ear

The gentle breeze hitting wind chimes

Purring of my cat.
The snore of my dog (it's cute!)
The deep sound of my viola when I draw my bow across my string
The sustain pedal on my piano
Quiet melodies hidden amongst louder more intricate themes
The sound of a pancake right when it needs to be flipped
My little sister excitedly yelling my name when I walk in the door
Stairway to Heaven
I could go on and on. Sounds are my favorite.

Childen, screaming, shouting and singing.
Nothing better than seeing children happy. There's not enough of it around the world.
