Is there something wrong with me? with him?
Is this because of the fact that i am on the pill? I never used to be this dry.
This happens all the time and we can't have sex. What can be done?

Yes, the pill can affect the ph in your vagina. You can either stop taking the pill or use alternatives to help keep you lubricated, there are plenty of lubricants for women on the market.

I'm on the pill too but my discharge isn't always thick. See the thickness has something to do with your menstrual cycle. It's thicker when it's closer to the time your period comes. As long as your discharge doesn't smell and it doesn't itch, you're fine.
Use lube if you feel dry, I always use KY it's good

Yes the pill changes your body in that way, I had to stop taking it. Since you are probably young you don't want to get pregnant so don't quit taking it. Go out and by some personal lubrication like KY jelly, there is lots of different jelly's to choose from, have fun experiment.

Yes. Unfortunately, dryness is a common side effect of hormonal birth control (like 'the pill').
Your easiest solution is to invest in a high-quality silicone based lube. They tend to have more 'lasting power' than your standard water based varieties. (And remember, no oil based lubes! They weaken condom latex and can cause vaginal infections.)
If the dryness is interfering that much, you could see your doctor and discuss trying other birth control methods, especially ones that don't contain estrogen (i.e. progestrone-only mini-pills, or depo-provera [the shot]).

use lube
astro glide works wonders for my boyfriend
i don't enjoy it much, feels to ... wierd
but ky gave me a BAD allergic reaction, i was bleeding and having puss down there from it
but get some sample sized lubes of different brands and test them on your skin to make sure you dont have a reaction
then have a trial run with the ones that dont react badly
keep using the one you like most
