Many people still to this day reject, laugh at and make fun of concepts that are beyond their understanding.
The problem with these concepts you speak of is that they are now, and always have been the most vital to our existence as a people. We actually need them to thrive as a people or race. With out having love , peace and understanding for our fellow beings and ourselves we put both on a level of unimportance and insignificance and down a path of self destruction.

I find comfort in knowing that there is a greater plan that we all are playing a part in. It is Gods plan and while people make choices to direct us on many different roads to the outcome of that plan, in the end will be peace, love and understanding. I too, like you, wonder how God can stand to open his eyes and look at us these day. Hang in there sweetheart. You are needed here. Angels fly around here.

Peace and love were never meant to be funny, and anyone that thinks they have complete understanding in this world is hilarious, because no human of this time has full understanding.

Nothing to feel "sorry" about. There's nothing "funny" about it. Perhaps you got some stupid, uncaring answers on another question? IGNORE THEM. If anyone thinks peace, love & understanding is funny, they're not worth even thinking about.

there's nothing funny about a noble concept that can only serve to benefit everyone on the planet. unfortunately, these days it's become trendy to be mean and anyone expressing anything remotely pensive or emotional is laughed off as being emo, which is wrong. so if that's what's really on your mind, then i admire you for it.

Nothing funny with it. They were the "Good Old Days". Where did they go? People have changed and I find it hard to adjust to this new generation. Peace brother!

Nothing...they are what this world needs..so bad..
And we all need to have peace,love&understanding towards each other. We all can make a difference.not just here with each other..but in the world we all live in.

peace?which country is going to start first?
love?who cares about the person next to us?who cares if they're hungry,or lost,or in pain?
we just care about ourselves!
understanding?the only understanding some people have is with a dollar sign in front!
but you know what?!
there are still a few of us around......you know...the dreamers...
people who really do care about the world!!!
i wish the world peace love understanding and compassion!
