I'm 13 and I was just wondering if it hurts/bleeds for the first time so I asked my mum and she said that it hurt for her and she bled. I'm not going to be losing my virginity any time soon but I was just wondering how much it hurts. I use tampons does that mean my hymen is already broken and that I won't bleed?

It's good to be curious about the birds & the bees, I would wait to practice until your much much older though. If you're using tampons your hymen might be broken already, which also can happen with physical exercise. So, it would depend if you would bleed or not. It certainly can hurt if, your not ready for intimacy & you don't know what your doing. I would wait until you find someone you love & who respects you & wants to be friends first. You want to know the person real well & know them for a long time. It will be a special moment in your life & you want to make sure it's right for you.

Good for you for not wanting to lose your virginity yet! It's okay to be curious, though. You should get straight facts from somewhere. Talk to your parents, NOT your friends. Or go to reliable online sites.

Tampons don't break the hymen.
Not every woman bleeds when the hymen is broken. Heavy exercise can break the hymen, so an intact hymen is not necessarily a sign of virginity. Also, sex does not necessarily break a hymen.

Some girls are differnt. Tampons only break some of the hymen But once you have sex it may hurt or not for me the first time it didnt hurt but the second time it did cause he didnt break it all the first time. Dont worry bout it your not losing it for a few more years hopfully Just dont even think of it.

I sure wasn't thinking about that when I was your age!
I was actually thinking about holding a certain guy's hand, not his family jewels!
Personally, it didn't hurt at all, nor did it bleed, fortunately for me.
If you're properly lubricated during foreplay, it shouldn't hurt you either but it might bleed, which shouldn't cause you any real pain or discomfort; just a little mess on the bedsheets, lol!

it will probably hurt and you will probably bleed, and sometimes even after you've been doing it awhile this will happen. But don't worry, its not that bad. But sex is overrated anyway. Trust me, its not the trouble it can cause sometimes. So you are smart in waiting, just try not to change your mind :)

well it might hurt, its always different between all people
