When you miscarried did you have a D&C done? You might have some remaining tissue left in your uterus. The only way to find out what is going on with you is to go for a check up with your doc. You can do OTC pregnancy test in the mean time. Why not check & see if, there are any free clinics in your area, who can see you like Planned Parenthood.

It's hard to say what's up, although if you are over 40 or so, it could just be menopause. If you had been 3 months pregnant, you couldn't have missed the miscarriage and you'd have needed to go to the hospital more than likely. There would have been huge clots and plenty of cramping. There is no test to tell if you were pregnant, although if you retained any tissue, you would be sick and the laboratory would find products of conception in the tissue removed in a D&C. Hot flashes are more associated with the hormonal changes of menopause than pregnancy. A period that is 3 months late due to a hormonal malfunction is usually associated with large clots and cramping, and heavy flow. You really need to see a gyn, unfortunately, to find out exactly what is going on. In the meantime, I suggest you try to eat lightly, and take a good multivitamin and mineral supplement to make sure you aren't fatigued due to anemia. If the nasea and dizziness continue, though, you might go to the ER, as you might have an infection of some sort that needs treating. It could still be possible you did miscarry, and didn't do it completely. That will require a physical exam to determine. I'm sorry, but this is the best that can be done on the internet.

You can do an at home pregnancy test. If it's positive you were pregnant because it takes 4 to 6 weeks for your hcg level to return to normal after a miscarriage.Check out www.americanpregnancy.org
