That is absolutely NOT true. I watch Forensic Files and Body of Evidence all the time and everyone has a different DNA. Even identical twins don't have the same one. Though relatives do have the same Mitochondrial DNA. But if you're talking about just standard DNA is never the same, just like no 2 people have the same fingerprints. The link I've added should give you some help understanding.

Yes, every human being is related. This was proved years ago with the Mitochondria Eve theory. Since Mitochondria are passed down from the mother, you can bactrack them trough people to find out where did humans originated. When they did, the answer was an african female they labeled Mitochondria Eve. And we all descend from her. So, we all have a common base for our DNA. Now, anyways, there are enough differences between any two person's DNA's to allow CSI guys to make a living sending rapists and killers to jail.
You should be able to find info about this googling for "Mithochondria Eve Theory".
Hope this helped you!

I know that every child carries their mother's DNA in their Mitochondria which is sort of cool. If that is what you mean. So you have the exact genetic code of your mother inside of your Mitochondria. If she were to die, they could clone her by using that. LOl.

No, we do not all have the same DNA, we all have common characteristics, but as far as all being related... no we are not.
But in theory we would all have to have come from the first 2 people to ever have sex.

It would probably depend on how broadly you define "related" .I'd guess yes, we are all distantly related.

I've read that, too, that everybody on earth is at least a 50th cousin. Kinda makes you think, doesn't it?
