i am on line sbc say your e mail was working fine before net gear router was install net gear say you are on line and it not there problem please help

netgear router have a settings page that you ca access and
and adjust settings for email, sites you may want to block,
and secure your network.
to access these setting you have to open internet explorer, or
whatever browser you are using
and type the address in the back of your router,example:
http://192.168.0.1 then it will ask for name and pass
the default may be name: admin
password: password
once inside the setting you can check to see if there is a way for you to change how your email is set

make sure sbc is using port 110 and 25 for pop and smtp email, if they are not using port 25 you may have to configure router to open that port to send out email

Check your firewall to be sure the you have your internet settings set to "Trusted" Zone.
