Well, the formula for the area of a circle is

A = pi * radius^2
= pi * (6 inches)^2
= pi * 36 sq. inches

The formula for area of a circle is pi*r^2,where pi=3.14 and r is the radius of the circle
therefore area of the circle is
=3.14*6*6 sq.inch
=113.04 sq.inch
