The rope won't retract. The spring seems to have come loose from the mechanism. I did fix it and it worked for 2 years, but I don't think I did it the right way, because it was a little quirky and had to finnesse it. The real hassle was that when I get down to it, I have to take off the gas tank and I then had to mess with the carb...... It took a lot longer than it should have. Any tips? I do have the expanded diagams for everything BUT the engine*^#.

If you are good at fixing small engines, contact snapper for the diagrams.

If not, then take it to a Snapper dealer.

Usually within the overdue wintry weather. At the tip of summer time I have had my fill of garden mowers, hoes, weeds, grass seed, compost, and many others. and as soon as the grass stops actively developing and the wet season starts (October within the Pacific Northwest), I'm performed with the whole thing outdoor apart from raking leaves. I use a push mower -- well undertaking, no gas required, no air pollution, do not ought to have my blood strain cross off the charts seeking to get the item began after six months of idleness. The grass remains wherein it falls except there may be plenty of it after which it is going into the compost bin.
