It's normal to have a discharge, this is due the sloughing off of cells in your vagina. You probably have been noticing it more perhaps because your body is going through changes which are also normal. Is the discharge clear & sticky? Is it itchy or does it smell?
I would recommend drinking more water & going to see your doc for a check up if it gets any worse. I would also recommend having a chat with your mom & find out what's going on. :)

I don't think I see one answer which says 'tell your parent/mom/dad or just someone who is concerned with your medical welfare. Why is that when it should be the first thing that we all think of to do?

This can be very scary for you and that is what a mom/dad/parent or someone concerned with your medical well being is (should be) there for. We may all want to help but that is where your first line of defense should be. So get to talking and hopefully someone will take you to the doctor to get this taken care of. It may be nothing to worry about but at least then you will know for sure.

out of the blue, i can only give you generic answer. No sex means you have not engaged with the opposite sex, and not exposed to that worry.

Girls have crevices, nooks and crannies. your ears make wax. your nose makes mucus, your vagina also makes lubricant. part of nature to make it moist and soft/fluent.

If every month you get a "mucus plug' type long stringy thing, its is again natural. that's the plug from your cervix allowing sperm access to your uterus.

Do not worry about stopping nature. Its what is supposed to happen. Important here, is if you have something you consider important, you should contact your doctor for female medicine, or planned parenthood if no coverage. Its OK to ask questions, they know the answer. Hopefully to EVERY question you can come up with!

your discharge may be cervical mucus experienced by fertile women during their menstrual cycle, or may be a medical sign of many conditions including endometrial cancer, yeast infections, and some STDs. But don't worry it happens to alot of women. your discharge shows you of how your body and vagina is regulating. your vagina is like a self-cleaning oven. it cleans itself. i'm sorry, but there is no way to stop the discharge. you need it for the vagina , intercourse, and your period. i'm not a doctor, but if you want to at least try to tone it down, you should go see one. the only time it ends is when you are starting menopause.

I'll come straight to the point, I have attached two sites which I am sure will answer your question fairly well.

http://hcd2.bupa.co.uk/fact_sheets/html/vaginal_infections.htm
http://www.healthscout.com/ency/68/394/main.html.

Along with the information provided in the above two sites, I can only add further one single point.
Please be careful while using a public toilet.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

Get well soon.
Regards.

discharge is very normal its just the vaginas way of cleaning itself, all women get it and there is nothing u can do to stop it, it varies on how thick it is depending on the time of the month, but it is very normal so i wouldn't worry

it is probably thrush. it is natural & happens when we eat to much sugar, get to hot & sweat down there, sometimes it happens just before or after your period.
go to your pharmacy & get a cream or there is now a single dose tablet you can take. if you have any other questions they will be able to help you, don't be shy about it most women get it at times, it's very common

i have had the same problem!!! and i haven't really had my period yet either..ok well ive had a few false alarms, but still.. anyway it normal and even after you get your period is normal.. it really sucks but your thing is just cleaning itself.. retarded i no.. but we all deal with it. just know that nothing is wrong with you unless it is green or smells like bread or fish.

unfortunately you cann't stop it either.

If you have started your period and the discharge is white or clear then you are ovulating.

it's really normal if you say you havent had sex or anything. if it's white in color, it's normal. if it's red, it's period. (lol)
