It suppose to be a lucky number, also 7 is considered a very "heavenly" number.

I'm not sure what the number 777 symbolizes. I typed in "the number 777" on Google search, and there was a variety of results. Your question did make me curious though, as to what the significance of 777 is. Although I am not getting married on 07/07/07, I will be celebrating my birthday.

God created the world in seven days and the number seven is viewed as a number of perfection. Just as 666 is the worst number, 777 is an abundance of perfection. Since 7 symbolizes the perfect number, people think getting married on that day is lucky.

I don't remember the exact significance of the triple digits (I think it's something to do with the concept of trinity), but 666 represents hell. hell being a place of torment for the angels that left God and Heaven and joined Satan is given a lower number then heaven which has been ascribed 777. Therefore 777 is deemed holy, and since nothing that is Holy is bad 07/07/07 is probably popular day to get married since it should bring peace to the union.

777 is basically a sign for good luck in the christian faith since 7 is considered lucky and 'holy' i guess would be the word......also on the 7th day god rested after creating the world and is known as the rest day i guess......so people figure that it is a sign of good luck and that they are more blessed and that maybe good things will come especially if they are to marry their loved one the day that god set aside for the people to rest...

Something religious I believe and it indicates that people don't mind having their weddings in th heat...in esence thier wedding day wuold be 7/7/07.....
