no running it on 5 cylinders wont help you,it could be any thing, you said all the stuff you replaced,my question is was it doing it before all of this or did it start after wards, that would help a lot knowing that ,it could be the cam worn down a little on it they will make a light lifter noise,if its a hard knock or a soft knock would also help you usually get a hollow knock from the lower part of the engine, and harder knocking sound from the upper part ,sometimes, this doesn't always apply,it can be a rod bearing or a main bearing, the video you had up is gone so I'm having to guess at this.but try to narrow it down to one specific area, that would help a lot, good luck hope this helps.

It sounds such as you're describing a concern time-honored as piston slap. It oftentimes only happens in chilly temperatures with an previous engine. it quite is no longer quite hurting something, it quite is merely a sprint annoying. to repair it would require a clean engine, or rebuilding the present engine. So it infrequently justifies the value of adjusting it. EDIT: If this have been a count of pre-ignition, the knocking might worsen by fact the motor vehicle warms up, not greater effective.

Unplug each spark plug wire on the distributor cap one at a time to see if it stops.
If it does, that's the cylinder with a bad piston, or connecting rod.

Oh, your link didn't work. It expired or something.

It could be bad rod bearings, bad gas or who knows without doing some tests.

Try changing the fuel filter, higher octane fuel, and the fuel injectors or carburetor needs cleaning....you didn't mention what year it is...so i don't know if it's carburetor or fuel injection.
