No. they have historically bad drafts and, this year, they outdid themselves. also, their free agent aquisition prowess is, practically, non existant.

#1 - No, the Packers definitely aren't the 'Baltimore Ravens" of finding talent. #2 - Brett Favre needs to realize, he's not the top 5 QB he once was, and should appreciate his starting job and be a little more humble. I admire him for wanting to win, but he needs to step down from that Royalty throne he THINKS he's on. A place of tradition like Green Bay, is about the only franchise that would let him get away with his antics, with performance really backing it up, yet still making Top Notch Millions. As long as there's such a strong 'market' for Brett Favre in the Green & Yellow, he aint goingz no where.

Ok this will be the only time I will ever stick up for Brett Farva. Mostly because I hate him but I can recognize his talent as a superior QB.
A friend and I had a long very heated argument about dear Brett a few months back that actually ended in pushing and shoving. And with that being said I believe that Brett Farva deserves “the Roger Clemens” treatment of football I think he should be able to play and practice when he wants to and get the money he wants. Granted he isn’t the type of QB who takes advantage of that. Furthermore he should be given the players he wants. He has proven himself time and time again that he knows what the hell he is doing and if he wants to put a player on the team then you freakin do it. Don’t pitter patter around and second guess arguably the most talented player to ever grace the field. Yes player not QB. If he wants Pac-Man Jones you get him if he wants Ricky Williams you get him because in his mind it will work. And I would bet my bottom dollar says that he is right.
I spelled his name FARVA on purpose!!

He doesn't get the offensive help he needs to pick up those extra 2 to 3 wins they need each year. They don't need to go draft a Steve Smith but a couple receivers that could actually catch or bat down balls would help greatly. Picking up a running back that wasn't around when Nixon was in office might be a good idea too.

Well if anyone can do it, it would be Brett Favre and the pack, but Ted Thompson is a moron and if he ever traded favre i wouldnt doubt that the next morning he would have his head chopped off by the packer fans. GO PACK GO!!

i've got watched each and every game this season aside from the Titan game. the only element the Vikings have been waiting to do become shop rigidity all day on Aaron Rodgers. quantity 12 isn't the only puting the factors on the board whether. The Vikings did no longer dominate the sport simply by fact it takes all 3 aspects to dominate. you have particular communities, protection, and offense. Our offense had one solidpersistent all game with one landing. We had a punt return for a landing and an interception for a landing. Aaron Rodgers recieved a sturdy call as much as week 3 with no person communities like Minnesota and detroit. he's a foul decision maker and Ted Thompson might desire to hold close himself for letting a heroic QB decide for this guy. i assumed Creg Nall become a extra helpful p.c.. for starter. i've got been pulling my hair out with this guy and whilst he does do something suitable i'm like " that a boy!" Thank God for our protection and particular communities in any different case we'd be suitable next to detroit. the authentic question is, how can our offensive line be so sturdy in 07 that we'd desire to circulate 5 extensive reciever set with little concerns to little secure practices in any respect? i won't be able to positioned each and all the blame at Rodgers. It looks like they haven't any ambition to win anymore. i won't be able to say something approximately grant different than he's getting a overdue initiate this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Lee, Martin, Jennings, motive force, Jones, and Nelson are very suited. And Nelson is making a popularity for himself as properly. No team in this branch is as sturdy as eco-friendly Bay. we choose a sturdy decision MAKER FOR THIS team!

Favre has never really had a star receiver to play with in his career. he's always made the recievers look good in my opinion. he has a right to be upset after 17 years.
you would think they would try to help out one of the greatest QB's of all time before he retires.
packer fan here, green bay is a good 3 hour drive from here though :p

appearantly favres unhappy and asked for a trade after the draft. that just recently came out. doesnt look like they did much for him. if they didnt wanna get him a WR, they should have at least gotten him a RB to ease the load a lil!!!

no ted thompson is a douche. Moss would have been a great pick up but thompson messed it up. it is time for TT to go. Favre deserves better but thompson is turning his back on him.

They do TOO MUCH for him. He is too old and needs to retire and let Aaron Rogers come in. He won't though. Oh the team can't win without me. Yeah and they can't win WITH you either.
