The irony of this whole sordid situation is - that if some person or a couple who were desperate for a child (and she is a obviously a very pretty and photogenic little child I'm sure you would agree) has kidnapped her - you can bet they're probably doing a better job of keeping an eye on her than her real parents did - don't you think?

well i think leaving ur children like that is out ragious i have 2 young children and i wud never leave em alone while i went to the pub. my childrens saftey is far more important. has any 1 asked the qustion wether madeline woke up to find her parents not there, and went to luk 4 them i hope they find this little girl shes only 4 and needs her family not sum sick pervert i jus hope to god shes ok.

A child has been taken whom is very much loved and very well cared for. These parents undoubtedly have made the biggest and costliest mistake in their life. They are now paying the worst and ultimate price, words do not and cannot express the pain and agony this family is going through. Had none of this ever happened Gerry and Kate would be back at work, caring for and saving peoples life's.

the parents are to blame they were to busy eating a meal, rather than looking after their children.
why isn't anybody questioning the parents for leaving thier children there is no excuse, you choose to bring your children into the world therefore you choose to look after them simple as.
hopefully madelines parents will think twice about leaving their kids on there own, it makes you laugh how they are doctors, aren't they supposed to be educated ? well madelines parents are not very educated if they leave their kids on their own, when people go abroad they seem to lose their inhabitions, would they have left their children on their own in a hotel in britain probably not, so why do they think they can go abroad and they will be safer.
Madelines parents are paying the ultimate price for abandoning thier children, lets all pray that madeline is safe, and her parents stupidity has not endangered her life.

WHO CAN SAY THEY ARE A FLAWLESS PARENT - no parent is..... we go on holiday we all take risks at some point - im even sure your parents did with you - and so i feel it is totally wrong of you to come up with such a terrible question. The persons responsible were planning her kidnap for whatever purpose, to molest,rape or sexually torment her...they wont be looking after her better than Madeleines parents can...that is for sure..... and if it hadnt have been madeleine it would have been someone elses child. I feel for her parents and for the child.

that is crazy!! madeline belongs with her own family they are the best people for her. and if some sick family have taken her they should bring her back where she belongs and go to an adoption agency and not steal a child from its family! sick sick weirdos

something does not add up to me!
I personally think the father has something to do with it... just when I saw then doing an appeal, the mother with emotional (as expected) and the father was just blank.. no compassion, no emotion.
How can you leave your child like that!
