well it starts, but it takes a minute, it will turn and turn for a while before it begins starting, but it starts every time it just takes a while, and plus the embarrasment of "my car not being able to start"..i have already put a new starter in it and the battery is quite new, i sorta confused, is there anyhting i can do?

It is a 95 ford mustang, everything else is fine, once the car starts it runs fine and everything till i turn it off, and then it can spin and start to turn over and then keep spinning for a while till it finnaly get started

check the alternator

ignition, too

...could be fuel delivery too... check carb/fuel inj.

you did the most common thing to do but one of the most costly. try changing your battery cables,and if your vech. is an automatic maybe your neutrl.safetyswitch is going bad.it can cause problms.like you are having.put your gear shifter in drive then back into park and try starting it. good luck.

check wires and cables for corrosion, and splits
