Can the Twins continue to play with the pink bats for the rest of the season? For some reason their offense is doing very good tonight (more than 20 hits and 16 runs).

No. These bats will be auctioned off to raise funds for breast cancer research.

The Tigers started a raw rookie, and Leyland was distracted by the park itself. He admitted it.

Then, of course, is the phrase that hitting is contagious. That was proven in this game.

Ya, I know the feeling, the Pirates finally scored more than 7 runs for the first time this year (13) and had 18 hits. For the Twins and Bucs anyway, I hope they use them for the rest of the season and the trend continues for both teams!

I liked the pink bats...I mean anything that can help pull the twinkies out of a loosing streak and deliver home runs is a plus. I mean come on Redmond even homered REDMOND shocked the heck out of me. I thought Morneau's nose would of looked more f*ed up though that was about the most disappointing thing in the game for me.

Those pink bats just brought some good luck for the Twins. Actually they were used for breat cancer awareness and will be auction off. Maybe you could purchase one for your collection.

My guess on that one would be no, probably not since the bats are supposed to be auctioned off to support breast cancer research

no, MLB will not allow it. Johnny Estrada tried to use his the next day last year because he hit well with it and them umpire made him go back to the dugout to get his regular bat.

**** no, I hated those nelly things during the Rays/Jays game this afternoon. The pink armbands or ribbon-pins were enough.
