No one is as bad as Sean Salisbury. He sucked flag football monkey balls when he played in the NFL, yet he dish's out criticism in a very insulting fashion. And the way he constantly disses Mark Clayton (who I know is a dork, and never put on pads, but you can't deny his knowledge of the game) really irks me.
P.S - My question to Kathy (the first answer)...WTF are you doing answering in the Sports catagory anyway? Grow up, or shut up.

They're all good guys. They don't bore me with stats.
I believe it was the late 70’s, early 80’s, that I first got into Lupica when reading the sports section of the Daily News. I loved his style of writing.
Usually, just a short paragraph or sentence that would sum up his though(s) about a topic; then on to the next. Much like he does on ESPN.
He doesn’t belabor a point.
He says what he has to say and is ready to move on.
YOU denigrate those reporters ability to voice their opinion(s) stating that ‘None of them seem to know what they are talking about!’ Yet you watch them so much so that you have such a strong opinion about all of them.
They know SOMETHING.
At the very least they knew how to get those jobs and keep YOU interested and watching enough to draw your conclusions about their opinion(s) and ability.
I’ll keep watching them and if I were a gambling man; I’d bet that you will too.

I like the show -- Dan Le Batard always has something interesting to say. Lupica drives me nuts but he is at least informed. . . as long as whatever it is he is talking about happened on the East Coast. And shut up Stephen Smith. Shut. Up. Already.
I really miss Jason Whitlock, who was canned when he (rightly) called Lupica "an insecure, mean-spirited busybody", and referred to Scoop Jackson as a "clown." Jackson is actually much much worse than merely a clown
The problem with the show, imo, is that it is emblematic of what is wrong now with ESPN; no longer content to report on the story, they are now creating stories.

I think for the most part they are bandwagon idiots. First off, USC, did they not lose to two scrubs but somehow played in the Rose Bowl because of the reporters and their beliefs (just like all the previous years). Look boxing, bandwagon reports of great fighters only to kiss the other boxer when he kicks the crap out of their boxer. The best of all Barry " I only injected, I did not inhale" Bonds. They have all this evidence, but continue to jump sides. One minute he is a steriod freak the next he is a baseball god. YOU WERE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
