Sure people become LGBT all the time, why wouldn't they want to be part of a minority with limited rights after all?

The argument of turning is moronic. You are or aren't. All you can do is embrace your nature.

I just don't know. Many LGBT people have said they were born wired that way. I would go with that since they should know. I have been friends with some lesbian women but we never really discussed how/why they became that way. They just let me know they were and of course it was no problem in our friendship. My vote would be born but not because of any special insight I have.

I believe that people are born that way, because when I was 6 I had a crush on a girl. I didn't know that some people thought it was wrong. I didn't choose to like her, I just knew that I did.

People who are gay or lesbian were born gay or lesbian. Scientific researchers have shown that being gay is based on biological and genetic factors. One study found that women tend to have more children when they inherit the same genetic factors linked to homosexuality; another study found extreme differences in X chromosome inactivation between women who had gay sons and women who did not; and yet another study found that, although researchers have known for years that a man's likelihood of being gay rises with the number of older biological brothers, the new study found that the so-called "fraternal birth order effect" persists even if gay men were raised away from their biological families.

People who are bisexual were born bisexual. Bisexual people with a same sex partner are not gay or lesbian, and those with an opposite sex partner are not straight. Bisexuals have the choice to either be with a same sex partner or an opposite sex partner depending on who they fall in love with. This is one reason as to why those who are 100% gay or lesbian are told that they have chosen their orientation and can change.

Those who are Transgender did not choose their physical gender; their physical gender conflicts with the gender that they view themselves as and consider as an integral part of who they are as a person.

I think many are born that way. However, I know a few people who told me they chose to be gay. I don't know if this means they really aren't, or if it just means it can go either way--born that way or choose to be.

I think people are born that way. It's in them from the start. But, there are those that live heterosexual lifestyles and only come to realize their true feelings later in life.

I found during my research that liking Beagles, the color orange, liking the way cotton feels between your toes, drinking muddy water and driving on the right side of the road are all genetic. I guess anything is possible.

I believe born. I was 18 before I was aware of my inclinations.

I became gay over the time it took me to travel from my mother's womb to the doctor's hands.
