I'm not sexually active and I never have been.

There isn't anything wrong with it. Some girls are sexually active before they are 18 and should checked to make sure everything is alright. Depending on where you go it is possible to need a parental consent. If none of the above pertains to you ask you doctor why he/she feels you need a pelvic exam and then decide if you want one.

If you are not sexually active, then I dont think there's any need for it. As long as no abnormals, menstrual time is without problems etc.
