3/7 divided by 4/7 is 3/4.
Why?
Because when you divide fractions, the trick is to multiply by the reciprocal of your second number.
i.e.
5 divided by 1/2...
If you type this into your calculator (5/.5) you will get 10.
This proves the "trick".
5 divided by 1/2 = 5 times 2/1 = 5*2=10
Your problem:
3/7 divided by 4/7 = 3/7 times 7/4 = 21/28 = 3/4
Hope this answer helps!

You need to invert (flip it upside down) 4/7 and then multiply:
3 7 = 21
--- x --- ---------
7 4 = 28
Divide both by a common number (7) and you get 3/4

3/7 : 4/7
therefore the question is:
3/7 * 7/4
the 7s cancel out to give
3/4
(do this on paper, it might make more sense)
