I passed the real estate agent license, performed finger print & sent license application with correct fees by mail last Monday. I just checked online & I still wasn't a real estate agent yet. Is there a way for me to cancel my request to become a real estate agent at this time?

I heard if I am a real estate agent, & I want to buy a home for myself or for investment, I have to disclose that I am an agent in advance & that would make me less attractive to a potential seller.

I am not a real estate agent, but I would think that just because you get your license it doesn't mean you have to have that job. I'd go ahead and get licensed so that someday you could do it if you want to. You've come this far, why not?

It takes time to have your license issued and sent to you. At this point, you don't have to use your license it's up to you.

If you do want to purchase a home and the license has been issued, even if you don't physically have it, you do have to state that you are licensed in the State of California as a real estate salesman.

This does not mean you get a commission from the sale but make sure you have a clause that states the fact of whether or not you are asking for commission on the sale or not.

Let me tell you something my friend. If you went to the sellers house in a Devil costume they'd still treat you with respect and kindness in this market ! lol

I am a real estate agent myself and that real estate license is worth thousands.

Even if you don't work it as a business, you can save thousands when you buy a house. It costs no more to the seller to sell it to you BUT you get the commission!

Stop by my site sometime and look around for free and say hi

i don't think of any state demands faculty classes to become a realtor yet possibly California is diverse. sure there are on line classes - in basic terms google "genuine sources on line classes California" or your city/county. Getting purchasers is the problematical area and what takes longest. you may the two connect a extensive corporation like Keller Williams and pay severe table fees and fee splits and artwork the table to get calls that ought to become clientele / sellers or be indepedent and knock on doorways or rely on buddies and relatives to refer corporation. I could tutor merchandising to realtors seeing it is one section they don't conceal in any respect. in the journey that your purpose is to become a pilot, why not connect the Air tension - who will pay on your training ?

Call the licensing department and ask them what you should do to cancel.
