i hv been a stay at home mom, but now i want to do some work to utilise my dormant creative skills. i write beautiful poetry,great concepts for ads, paint extremely well (acc to people around me).i hv a degree in com arts, very well versed with the computer, can somebody guide me as to what i should do?

There's a book called The Artists and Graphic Designers Market. It lists hundreds of places looking for freelancers and what they look for. It's about $45 if I remember right at bookstores, but worth the money. It's listed at $17 on Amazon.

Put together a letter and portfolio. Contact small businesses in your city and pitch your creative skills to them.
