I have done it before but i dont HAVE TO drink a beer while having a shower.
You need to determine if -
You're having a beer of an afternoon and then think, HEY i need a shower i'll just take my beer in. (That doesn't seem like a problem)
or
I need to go out today, so i will have a shower in the morning - because i am having a shower i need a beer (yes that seems bad)
So i guess you need to change your question to if you HAVE to have a beer while having a shower any time of the day. Or you drink in the shower sometimes!

Well, it does make you an alcoholic if you can't stop. If you're doing it on your own free will, then I it's fine. But if you start finding out you can't stop and have to drink every night and you start having to drink more, then I am sorry, but you are becoming and alcoholic and I suggest you try driking much less frequently.

If you can't wait until you get out of the shower to have a beer, you probably have a drinking problem.

No. I've taken beers with me while I'm taking a bath. It makes it more relaxing

If you can hold your liquor well and can actually do without beer for a week or so , you aren't an alcoholic.

Nope. Alcoholics have problems. Lushes just enjoy themselves. So I would call you a lush instead. And that's not a bad thing.
