Ok, I know everyone's different...but tell me something: If a guy or a girl was, let's say, 18 and has never been in a romantic relationship, what do you think of that? What if the person is 20 or 21? What would your automatic assumptions or thoughts be?

I think that's fine. Some people prefer not to date a lot for fear of getting a bad reputation (especially true for girls) or because they don't want to have to go through a bad breakup.

Well if the guy/girl has not been in a romantic relationship and there 18 I would say that they haven't found the right person yet its normal everyone is different when it comes to love.

I wouldn't look down on someone who has never been in a romantic relationship by that age...

I didn't have my first boyfriend until I was 19. But it was by choice - I had other things that I considered more important up until then. I had lots of guys who were friends, but I didn't want to get involved with them romantically until it was what I wanted.

I do have a friend who is 27 and has never had a girlfriend - we do worry about him... but he's kind of uptight and just not very social.
We hope he's not still a virgin at 40...

Their is not really a certain age. If you were 18, and didn't ever have a boyfriend or girlfriend, it wouldn't matter because it is your choice. If you were 20 or 21 i would say the same thing.

It's ok to wait for the right person; 18 to 21 is ok but if you get 30 start to worry!!!

It tells me you just aren't ready and haven't met a person that interests you enough to be in a relationship with.

either they had strict parents (like mine) or they have something wrong with them that nobody likes( attitude, bad personality, ugly) or maybe theyre just waiting until the right person comes along. for me personally im 15 and almost all my friends have a boyfriend and i could have one if i want but i dont see the point of it.... to me a boyfrind/girlfriend is when your looking for someone to marry and i know non of my friends are getting married anytime soon......

My daddy said I couldn't get married until I turned 14 because he said it was the state law. I always wanted to get married since I was like 3 or 4. I guess maybe 12 or 13 for boyfriend/girlfriend? My husband already was married when I started seeing him. It was an arranged marriage and both of our families believed in polygamy.
