I have a 1997 Saab 9000 and the left turn signal wont go off when I turn the car off. It doesn't blink but the light stays on and it drains the battery and this is a problem. I have tried taking all of the light fuses out and the lights still wont turn off! Any ideas?

In europe that's normal for it to stay on for safety reasons in bad weather.

Fix your turn signal switch in the steering column.

You must be taking out the wrong fuses because it is impossible for the light to stay on if the fuse was removed. You could pull out the actual bulb. It might be the flasher unit, or the "relay" as some people call it. It is usually in the fuse panel or in the glove box. If you have owners manual it might tell you where it is. Try replacing that, if that doesn't work, I would take it to the shop.

kinda a guess, but it's possible. Most people don't realize their turn signals and brake lights are the same light. If you burned out your brake light (or turn signal) on the right side, and then your brake switch is stuck on, then you'll get symptoms like you describe. That's all I can think of. Very strange question.

well from what i know about car..they are TWO fuse boxs...one in the car and one under neath the hood...but its not a fuse problem because if it was...your blinker would work at all...its a silnoide problem...you know that sound it makes when you use it that clicking noise well thats the silnoide oping and closeing..you just need to find out were that is and replace it

My guess is you have a short in the steering wheel turn signal mechanism, you need to find a good car electrician and he can confirm that easy enough with a tester, and hopefully fix it.
