Yes, sometimes its better to write off...my biggest is $100, but I happened to borrow Some silk ties worth more...

My neighbor was into me for $12 dollars and wanted the $3 more that I had...No big deal but I only get $632 a month...He brought everything he had of mine, hundreds of dollars of stuff and told me to have a Good Life, We're through forever...Drunker he pounded on my door later Yelling he was goin do me as in kill me...I called the cops...Eventually, he found out that I'm not his friend anymore...So much for Ghetto personal assistants they try and rob you one way or another !

So many people in my life owe me so much money, I´d be friggi´ rich if they all paid up!
Sorry no strategies..except to save yourself the anguish and just forget it and then be thankful if and when they finally pay up!

It depends. If you loaned the money to a friend, you can usually collect with friendly reminders...if you see them ever again.

NEVER loan money to a family member! They are the worst at re-paying the loan.

I dont' find it hard, but they attempt to give me a hard time to get out of it. I simply remind them that upon handing them the cash, I told them I would hound them forever and continue to be a nuisance until they pay me in full.

Several people owe my husband money but he doesn't have the heart to ask for it. Eventually they come around but you can't always count on it.

lord, sugar, yes...1 of these days i'll learn 2 quit loanin it out...it really depends on who owes u...sometimes askin them about it repeatedly will suffice, while other times the threat of legal action seems effective...u can also mention ur bounty hunter friend ((( insert name here ))) if u feel so inclined...

I don't loan money. If someone needs it, I give it to them. Is'nt that what were supposed to do, help each other?
